A one day workshop of ritual, craft, ceremony and storytelling, for Mothers.

Nestled in a yurt near to Totnes on Saturday the 26th of April 2025 we Mothers will gather in gentle ritual to craft, rest, share, replenish, celebrate and listen. We invite you to share in this day of gentle nurturing.
For this Spin-Mother day, we will be fusing story, sharing, cacao and the craft of weaving. Using a handmade wooden loom and natural wools, you will be able to weave a small altar cloth or wall hanging. This cloth will be infused with the symbolism and intention that we will explore during our time together.
We will be welcoming the beloved spirit of Mother Cacao to our day of ritual and craft to guide us. We will invite in her powerful, heart-healing medicine to support us in softening, opening and receiving the nutrients of our time together.
Isla-Rose will hold a cacao ritual and guided meditation, to create a space for you to connect deeper to the wisdom of your heart and womb.
Rose will offer the threads and looms that we will journey with to create our cloth of meaning. These looms and weaving needles will be available to purchase so that you can continue your craft journey at home.
And we will both be sharing an original medicine story that aims to encapsulate the essence of our time together and spread healing and nurturing.
Our intention is that this day, for Mothers of all ages and stages, will allow us the time to dream, reflect and replenish our inner wells of nurture, magic and inspiration.

• Lunch at 1.00pm - 2.00pm (opportunity for mothers with small babies/toddlers that need feeding or connection to arrive during the lunch hour. Partners won’t be invited in on this occasion as we want to hold the container, but it’s ok for them to drop the babies off!)

Isla-Rose is a mother, ceremonialist, plant intuitive, womb healer and cacao facilitator, trained in the shamanic ways of the Womb. Over the last two years she has delved deep into the magic and mystery of the loom and spindle, weaving cloth, dying with plants and spinning, spinning, spinning through the portal of new motherhood.
Rosemary is a mother, spinner, weaver, ceremonialist, folk herbalist and poet. She has been holding space in weaving, spinning and naturally dying for over 6 years. Her work combines the gentle teaching of practical skills with the symbolic and spiritual element of craft.
